At Amber Strings, every piece is carefully selected and crafted to bring you the beauty of traditional Indian craftsmanship. We want you to love your purchase as much as we love bringing it to you.

We request our customers to read the following policy before placing an order

Return & Exchange Window

Customers may request a return or exchange within [7 days] of receiving their order, subject to the eligibility conditions mentioned below

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

A product may be eligible for a return or exchange if:

  • The product received is damaged or defective.

  • The wrong product has been delivered.

  • The product received is significantly different from the description or specifications displayed on our website.

  • The product meets our applicable return or exchange conditions.
     

To qualify:

  • The product must be unused, unworn and unwashed.

  • Original tags, labels and packaging must be intact.

  • The product must not have any stains, perfume marks, alterations or signs of use.

  • Customers must share clear photographs and order details for verification.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return or exchange, except where required under applicable law:

  • Products purchased during clearance or special sale promotions, where clearly stated.

  • Customised or specially altered products.

  • Products that have been worn, washed, damaged or altered after delivery.

  • Products returned without original tags or packaging

Colour & Handmade Product Variations

Amber Strings specialises in handmade Lucknowi Chikankari and ethnic wear. As our products involve handcrafted work, minor variations in embroidery, texture or finishing may naturally occur.

Actual product colours may also appear slightly different due to lighting conditions, photography and individual screen settings. Such minor variations do not automatically qualify as product defects

How to Request a Return or Exchange

To initiate a request:

  1. Contact us through WhatsApp or email within [7 days] of receiving your order.

  2. Share your order number and reason for the request.

  3. Attach clear photographs or videos of the product, wherever applicable.

  4. Our team will review your request and share the next steps.

Please do not ship any product back without receiving confirmation and return instructions from our team.

Refund Policy

If a return is approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method, wherever possible, within [5–7] business days after the returned product has been received and inspected.

Shipping charges, if any, will be handled according to the applicable return circumstances and the information disclosed at the time of purchase

Exchange Policy

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested replacement is unavailable, our team will discuss the available resolution with you.

Important Note

Any product received in a damaged, defective or incorrect condition should be reported as soon as possible. We will review genuine concerns and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
